Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas
Thanksgiving is now over and the official rush of the season is on. Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving at our son's
home. The food was great and the company of friends and family was truly a blessing. I'm working on decorating the house
- the tree is up and the remainder of the house is waiting. Today I made a Christmas stocking for my grand-dog Maxie and monogrammed
another stocking for my other grand-dog Spike. There are some new members in our family and I need to get busy and make more
stockings for the mantle. I'm also working on a Christmas tree topper from Holleyberry. It's going to be embroidered red satin,
white satin and organza. The head and hands are porcelain. It will be just beautiful when finished. And there are other gifts
to get started and to finish. I have lots of new classes coming up next year. There will be a "Stitchers Garden"
appliqued quilt, Hoopsisters TNT, Jenny Haskins and Scrap Therapy. I'm pretty sure there will be even more as the year gets
started. And hopefully I'll be able to teach the Bernina software again if we gain a new dealer in our area. I wish
everyone a wonderful Christmas season. Be happy, be safe, and be thankful for all we have. Share with those less fortunate
and pray for our loved ones and friends that are away in the military or some other situation. And don't forget the
most important thing about Christmas - JESUS - is the reason for the season! Sandy

Welcome to Stitching and Fringes! I have been in business since 2004,
and I pride myself on providing customers with the best-quality products and personal service. I would be delighted to have
you in one of my sewing classes. Please check the calender for a listing of my classes. You can also order from me using
the on-line contacts page or contacting me by phone. I offer beautiful Christening gowns and other heirloom items for
purchase. I have been sewing since I was 9 years old. I started by sewing a simple skirt in our local 4-H
club. After many years in 4-H I started sewing for my home, then my children and now my grandchildren. When my first
grandson came along I just had to have an embroidery machine. When my granddaughter was born I started sewing heirloom garments,
starting with her Christening gown. I love to do heirloom sewing which includes Christening gowns, heirlooms for babies, linens
and even wedding accessories. I have attended three licensings classes with Martha Pullen in the heirloom curriculum as well
as the serger curriculum. I recently attended the first Jenny Haskins Academy of Certified Tutors and I am now certified
to teach as a Jenny Haskins tutor. Most of my classes are held at the Fabric Chest in Glen Burnie, MD. I teach
the Bernina Artista Software, advanced embroidery, heirloom and quilting classes.
I take an enormous pride in creating my products, and hope that you'll find something in my catalog that you like.
I also can create custom orders; call or email and let me know what you want. I look forward to doing business with
you.
