What I'm working on this month
Hi, welcome back to my site. It's a busy month during February and March for me. I am working on a Christening
gown that originated with a wedding gown. It's beautiful satin and lace. I'm also doing a First Communion dress
for my granddaughter. The dress has smocking on the bodice with very light iridescent pink beads. The smocking is finished
and I'm adding the beads now. A quilt for the 4th of July picnic in New Baltimore, PA is also on the table. I was
asked to make and donate it for the church. It's the same church where we were married. I also have a flannel quilt
just about finished. It will be for display at the Fabric Chest. After hanging for a while it will go to our log home in PA.
And I have four project to finish up after a weekend workshop with Judith Adams from Australia. I'm also working
on the Jenny Haskins Heritage Quilt. I've had requests to do this as a block of the month class. So much to do that I
better get busy. I'll post pictures as the projects get completed.
Happy Sewing - Sandy
